Summary:
The UK’s iconic seas and coast are home to some of the most colourful, fascinating and beautiful marine life in the world, supporting everything from valuable fish stocks, to delicate jewel anemones. An ecologically coherent network of Marine Protected Areas (MPA) is needed to ensure a proportion of the seas is protected.
Goal:
To design the user-experience of the new Ocean Devotion website which would provide an interactive GIS map covering all the MPAs with use of maps, text and images. It would also allow the end users to participate in campaigns to protect their regional MPA as well allow them to donate to an MPA.
