Summary:
The primary goal for this project was to envision, plan, design and develop a scalable Student Portal that supports student peers both inside and outside the classroom. By participating, students grow as empathetic mentors and strong leaders while gaining practical strategies for effective tutoring.
The portal houses interactive and comprehensive Tutor Manual, Program forms, diverse set of resources, andvideos.
This project was funded by TELUS, Kiwanis Toronto Foundation, Halton Region and the International Development and Relief Foundation (IDRF).
Impact:
✔ The new portal empowers hundreds of tutors with essential training. As a result, impacting the lives of thousands of students across various regions of Ontario.
✔ More than just a gateway to Tutor training, the portal serves as an evolving and resourceful platform. It houses engaging resources, and kits.
